Great Range Mountain Guides is based in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State and is staffed entirely by American Mountain Guides Association Certified Rock Instructors. 

The name, Great Range, is an acknowledgement of the company's  roots in the Adirondacks where the "Great Range" forms the core of the most rugged High Peaks. While also being aspirational, as we all strive to teach and empower our guests with the skills and confidence to range more greatly in their endeavors.
