CLIMB WITH GREAT RANGE MOUNTAIN GUIDES

A Climbing Instructor For All Levels

Home: Welcome

Great Range Mountain Guides is owned and operated by Mark Scott with operations based in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State. Mark is trained and certified as an American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) Rock Instructor, Ice Instructor and Apprentice Alpine Guide. Mark is also a Provider of the AMGA Single Pitch Instructor Course and Assessment and is licensed by New York State as a Tier 1 Rock and Ice Climbing guide.

The name, Great Range, is an acknowledgement of Mark's roots to the Adirondacks where the "Great Range" forms the core of the most rugged High Peaks; while also being aspirational, as Mark strives to teach and empower his guests with the skills and confidence to range more greatly in their endeavors.
